My Perfect Kitchen
I’ve discovered something about myself. For one, I’m a little wacky. Going through kitchen photos to search for kitchen decorating ideas (I’m not about to start decorating a kitchen, btw– just dreaming about it), I found my preferences to be completely unpredictable. The kitchens I loved all had entirely different personalities.
I was looking at kitchen photos at HousetoHome, and fell in love with all of these kitchens:

1. The Retro Pink Ridiculously Colorful Kitchen – My Favorite!
Okay, so I might be tempted to switch the pink out for yellow, but otherwise this is probably my perfect kitchen. Feel free to impugn my tastes, if you like. I probably deserve it. Absolutely hate this kitchen? Don’t worry about me having one for myself– my husband would hate this, so I’d probably never do it.
2. The 1950s Style Diner Kitchen
Good Lord, but I’m tacky. I love this kitchen. It’s a little over the top and I probably wouldn’t do my kitchen this way, but… I secretly (actually, not so secretly) love it. Probably because I worked as a waitress in a 1950s style diner when I was a teenager, and have fond memories of red-vinyl booths and juke boxes playing “Ring of Fire.” Hey, I still love Johnny Cash.
I also love that they’ve switched out all the shiny chrome that you’d normally find in a 50s style kitchen for wood. That’s Clas-sy! 
3. The Continental Pine Kitchen
See how strange I am? I love this kitchen, though it’s not at all like the other two– hardly a hint of color. But love is love, and I think this kitchen is gorgeous.
Bonus: Awesome Wine Rack
This isn’t a kitchen photo per se (though it is a photo taken in a kitchen), instead it’s the coolest (but simplest) wine storage idea I’ve seen in a long time. VERY cool! Now I’m wondering how this would look in my bright pink kitchen…
