It’s summer. And while summer is a gorgeous time of year in Barcelona (this is when you get a real feel for the personality of the city), it’s also when I miss the states the most. Not because I want to see my family (though I do– kinda), but because I want a backyard!

You never fully appreciate the joy of a summer barbecue until you don’t have them anymore. Almost nobody I know even has a large terrace, much less a backyard. So barbecues are… *sigh*, well, they’re a thing of the past for me.

That’s why I both love and hate this video from Barbecue Web. It takes you step by step through making perfect bbq hamburgers on a charcoal grill. It’s like getting to go to a virtual barbecue… but makes me so hungry for a REAL barbecued cheeseburger that I want to cry.
